GET A COACH

One of the first tips that I got from one of my first coaches was that you need a coach! The first thing you need to do is get a coach. Get someone who can teach you the basics – no matter what your level of golf is, whether it’s intermediate or advanced, it’s always a fundamentals that are important.

NO SHORTCUT

There’s really no magic tip that you could give any one person. But I would definitely say to all the young guys: Try and get yourself a coach and there’s no shortcut. You have to be dedicated, you have to practice, you have to put in all the hours of work for you to get better.

HAVE FUN

I would always tell kids to just go and have fun and enjoy. It’s a really enjoyable sport, it’s a lot of fun. Golf teaches you a lot of things; it teaches you a lot about discipline and about life! I have learnt a lot of life lessons from the game. I think kids should just go out and have fun.
